Wagyu Production

Our meticulous program for wagyu production that has been continuously handed down

As many of our partner farms are located in the southern Kyushu area, which is rich in nature, the farming environment with clean air and abundant spring water significantly contributes to the growth of Wagyu cattle with high-quality meat. The “Wagyu Breed” has been handed down from generations of Japanese beef producers. Our partner farms secure the breed, pay attention to the health status of the cattle, and observe them every day, raising and cherishing each cattle carefully from breeding to fattening. We continue to protect and produce Japanese Wagyu that we can be proud of to the world.

Feeding

The feeding programs at each stage, which pursue a perfect balance between the cattle’s health and high-quality beef

We set an optimum feeding program (breast milk, artificial milk, rice straw, cured hay, compound feed, etc.) for individual growth stages of the cattle, which have been developed through our long years of experience. By observing the cattle carefully, we can fine-tune the amount of milk or feed for each of the cattle. We never put a burden on the cattle, promoting the growth of each into healthy cattle with high-quality meat.

Health Control

Paying careful attention to each one of the cattle by devoting time and effort and improving the environment for reducing stress

We are always striving to maintain good health of the cattle by giving early treatment whenever observation of the cattle by farm staff and veterinarians identifies any bad conditions and/or abnormalities. Some partner farms maintain a clean environment by moving the cattle to different barns several times for each fattening stage, cleaning them frequently, and replacing the floors. They also take precautions against the heat by circulating the air within the barns in summer. Thereby, they are striving to maintain and improve a stress-free rearing environment.
