Initiatives at YONEKYU OISHII TORI CORP.

The Tottori Plant, which produces the “Daichi no Herb Chicken” brand, uses carefully selected herb feed and water from Daisen, Tottori Prefecture, where great nature abounds, to carry out integrated production from production to processing.
To reduce the risk of infectious diseases in chickens, an “all-in, all-out system” is used. By preventing pathogens from becoming endemic, we maintain a more effective sanitary environment and ensure thorough biosecurity.
The Tottori and Shizuoka Operations have installed boilers that can use chicken manure collected from chicken coops as fuel, and the heat source is used for floor heating in the coops to reduce stress on the chickens, helping to create a comfortable growing environment for the chickens.

All-in all-out system

This is a system in which the entire chicken coop is emptied, cleaned, disinfected, and dried thoroughly when chickens are moved and shipped, and new chickens are introduced after a certain period of time without a coop. This system is aimed at preventing pathogenic bacteria from becoming habitually present in the chicken coop.
