Creating the Future

At the “Kitchen of the Future” in the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, we showcased real cultured meat and a meat maker. We presented a visionary, almost magical kitchen of the future—where meat shifts from something bought in stores to something made at home, customized to one’s preferred level of marbling. To address global population growth and environmental challenges, we will continue to expand choices in meat through advanced technologies and help safeguard a sustainable food culture for the future.

A Challenge to Transform the Future of Logistics

Due to the “2024 logistics issue,” including a shortage of drivers, delivering meat to consumers’ tables is becoming increasingly challenging. To overcome this issue, we are working with other companies, industry associations, and distribution partners to reform how products are transported.

Promoting Joint Delivery

Joint delivery improves transportation efficiency by consolidating shipments from multiple manufacturers onto a single truck. In regions such as Shikoku and Kansai, initiatives to reduce unused truck capacity are beginning to deliver tangible results.

Driver‑Friendly Operational Design

We are revising delivery time windows and streamlining on-site tasks at delivery locations. Creating a work environment where drivers can operate without undue strain is essential to ensuring stable and reliable deliveries. By fundamentally rethinking how logistics work, we will continue to deliver our products to customers steadily and reliably.
